NAME¶
xdg-mount - mount volumes using HAL, with the GNOME or Xfce tools
SYNOPSIS¶
xdg-mount [--help] [-d
/dev/file|-h
/org/freedesktop/Hal/udi] [--eject|--unmount] [--no-ui]
DESCRIPTION¶
xdg-mount is a wrapper script that will call
gnome-mount or
exo-mount depending on the desktop environment.
OPTIONS¶
The following options are understood regardless of the current environment.
- -?, --help
- Show help options and exit
- -d, --device-file
- Specify the volume to mount by the path to the device
file
- -h, --hal-udi
- Specify the volume to mount by its HAL Unique Device
Identifier
- -e, --eject
- Eject the volume rather than mounting
- -u, --unmount
- Unmount the volume rather than mounting
- -n, --no-ui
- Do not show the dialogs that may be required for
authentication
