IO::getString - Read a string from a binary file
SYNOPSIS¶
String getString( File h )
ARGUMENTS¶
h A readable file handle
DESCRIPTION¶
Reads a string (up to NULL termination) from a binary file. If the end of the
file is reached, the string read up to that point will be returned. The string
is assumed to be UTF-8 encoded.
