ocpasswd - OpenConnect server password utility
SYNOPSIS¶
ocpasswd [
-flags] [
-flag [
value]] [
--option-name[[=| ]
value]] [username]
Operands and options may be intermixed. They will be reordered.
DESCRIPTION¶
This program is openconnect password (ocpasswd) utility. It allows the
generation and handling of a 'plain' password file used by ocserv.
OPTIONS¶
- -c file, --passwd=file

Password file.
- -g string, --groupname=string

User's group name.
- -d, --delete
-
Delete user.
Removes the specified user from the password file
- -l, --lock
-
Lock user.
Prevents the specified user from logging in
- -u, --unlock
-
Unlock user.
Re-enables login for the specified user
- -h, --help

Display usage information and exit.
- -!, --more-help

Pass the extended usage information through a pager.
- -v [{v|c|n --version [{v|c|n}]}]

Output version of program and exit. The default mode is `v', a simple
version. The `c' mode will print copyright information and `n' will print
the full copyright notice.
FILES¶
Password file format
The password format of ocpasswd is as follows.
username:groupname:encoded-password
The
crypt(3) encoding is used for the encoded-password.
EXAMPLES¶
Adding a user
$ ocpasswd -c ocpasswd my_username
Locking a user
$ ocpasswd -c ocpasswd -l my_username
Unlocking a user
$ ocpasswd -c ocpasswd -u my_username
EXIT STATUS¶
One of the following exit values will be returned:
- 0 (EXIT_SUCCESS)

Successful program execution.
- 1 (EXIT_FAILURE)

The operation failed or the command syntax was not valid.
- 70 (EX_SOFTWARE)
