in a \s-1GUI\s0.  A signing set contains zero or more names of key \fIkeyrec\fRs.  These
sets are used by other DNSSEC-Tools utilities for signing zones.  The signing
sets found in the given \fIkeyrec\fR file are displayed in a new window.  New
signing sets may be created and existing signing sets may be modified or
deleted from \fBsignset-editor\fR.

\&\fBsignset-editor\fR has two display modes.  The Signing Set Display shows the
names of all the set \fIkeyrec\fRs in the given \fIkeyrec\fR file.  The Keyrec
Display shows the names of all the key \fIkeyrec\fRs in the given \fIkeyrec\fR file.
\&\fBsignset-editor\fR starts in Signing Set Display mode, but the mode can be
toggled back and forth as needed.

An additional toggle controls the display of additional data.  If the Extended
Data toggle is turned on, then the Signing Set Display shows the names of the
key \fIkeyrec\fRs in each signing set and the Keyrec Display shows the names of

turned off, then the Signing Set Display only shows the names of the set

available through the menus, and most have a keyboard accelerator.  The
commands are described in the next section.

Management of signing sets may be handled using a normal text editor.
However, \fBsignset-editor\fR provides a nice \s-1GUI\s0 that \fBonly\fR manipulates
signing sets without the potential visual clutter of the rest of the
\&\fIkeyrec\fR entries.

When undoing modifications, \fBsignset-editor\fR does not necessarily restore
name-ordering within a \fIkeyrec\fR's \fBsigning_set\fR field.  However, the

may not be exactly the same, byte-for-byte, as the original file, but the
proper meaning of the data is kept.
