SYNOPSIS¶

winswitch_ssh_Xnest [--help]

winswitch_ssh_Xnest clientID sessionID Xnest_command command [arguments ...]

DESCRIPTION¶

winswitch_ssh_Xnest starts full desktop sessions for Window Switch clients over SSH.

The ID of the user starting the session

sessionID

The ID of this session

The Xnest command to use

DESCRIPTION¶

SSH X-Windows forwarding only forwards individual applications over an SSH channel.

This wrapper allows us to start a larger area, like a full desktop, by starting the given command in an Xnest display. winswitch_ssh_session it will also notify the Window Switch server to ensure that tunnels used by Microsoft Windows clients are closed when the session terminates.
