The \fBC++\fP Annotations offer an extensive tutorial about the \fBC++\fP
programming language\&. It can be used as a textbook for \fBC/C++\fP programming
courses\&.

This document is intended for knowledgeable users of \fBC\fP (or any other
language using a \fBC\fP\-like grammar, like \fBPerl\fP or \fBJava\fP) who would like
to know more about, or make the transition to, \fBC++\fP\&. This document is the
main textbook for Frank\(cq\&s \fBC++\fP programming courses, which are yearly
organized at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands\&.

The \fBC++\fP Annotations do not cover all aspects of \fBC++\fP, though\&. In
particular, \fBC++\fP\(cq\&s basic grammar, which is, for all practical purposes,
equal to \fBC\fP\(cq\&s grammar, is not covered\&. For this part of the \fBC++\fP
language, the reader should consult other texts, like a book covering the
\fBC\fP programming language\&.
