\fIif\fR  命令把 \fIexpr1\fR  作為一個表示式來求值(用與 \fBexpr\fR 求值它的引數相同的方式)。這個表示式的值必須式一個 boolean  值(一個數值值，這裡 0 是假而任何其他數值都是真；或者是一個字串值，比如 \fBtrue\fR 或 \fByes\fR  是真而 \fBfalse\fR 或 \fBno\fR  是假)；如果它是真透過把 \fIbody1\fR  傳遞給 Tcl 直譯器來執行它。否則把 \fIexpr2\fR  作為一個表示式來求值並且如果它是真則執行 \fIbody2\fR，以此類推。如果沒有表示式被求值為真則執行 \fIbodyN\fR 。\fBthen\fR 和 \fBelse\fR  是可選的“噪音詞”用來使命令易讀。可以有任意數目的 \fBelseif\fR  子句，包括零個。\fIBodyN\fR  與 \fBelse\fR   可同時省略。命令的返回值是被執行的那個指令碼的返回值，如果沒有表示式是非零並且沒有 \fIbodyN\fR  則返回空串。
