The \fBtep_is_bigendian()\fR gets the endianness of the machine, executing the function\&.

The \fBtep_is_local_bigendian()\fR function gets the endianness of the local machine, saved in the \fItep\fR handler\&. The \fItep\fR argument is the trace event parser context\&. This API is a bit faster than \fBtep_is_bigendian()\fR, as it returns cached endianness of the local machine instead of checking it each time\&.

The \fBtep_set_local_bigendian()\fR function sets the endianness of the local machine in the \fItep\fR handler\&. The \fItep\fR argument is trace event parser context\&. The \fIendian\fR argument is the endianness:
