The \f(CW\*(C`SDL::Version\*(C'\fR structure is used by the \f(CW\*(C`SDL::linked_version\*(C'\fR function and the \f(CW\*(C`SDL::version\*(C'\fR macro.
The \f(CW\*(C`SDL::linked_version\*(C'\fR function returns the link-time SDL version whereas \f(CW\*(C`SDL::version\*(C'\fR returns the compile-time SDL version.
