uses the standard

data structures to return the

description in

for the metric identified by
.IR pmid .

The PMDA must be using
.B PMDA_INTERFACE_2
or later, as specified in the call to
.BR pmdaDSO (3)

.BR pmdaDaemon (3).

does not correspond to any metric supported by this PMDA,
