Helper function to derive SCRAM ClientKey/ServerKey/StoredKey.  The

hold digest for given  \fIhash\fP , use \fBGSASL_HASH_MAX_SIZE\fP which is
sufficient for all hashes.

Return value: Returns \fBGSASL_OK\fP if successful, or error code.
