.TH SINFO_UTL_CUBE_CREATE "7" "2.9.0" "sinfo_utl_cube_create" "sinfo recipes" .SH NAME sinfo_utl_cube_create \- Generate a cube .SH SYNOPSIS esorex .B sinfo_utl_cube_create [OPTIONS] FILE.sof .SH DESCRIPTION This recipe perform cubes creation. .PP The input files are: A raw frame on tagged as RAW_ON [optional] A raw frame off RAW_OFF A wavelength map, tagged as WAVE_MAP A wavelength map, tagged as WAVE_MAP A distortion table, tagged as DISTORTION A slitlets position table, tagged as SLIT_POS .SH OPTIONS .TP \fB\-\-objnod\-jit_ind\fR \fI\fR jitter mode indicator: TRUE: Auto\-Jitter, FALSE: user defined jitter. The size_x size_y kernel_type parameters are only used if jitterInd is set to yes, that means in auto\-jittering mode. (bool; default: True). The full name of this option for the EsoRex configuration file is \fBsinfoni.objnod.jitter_index\fR [default = \fITrue\fR]. .TP \fB\-\-objnod\-kernel_typ\fR \fI\fR Kernel Type:the name of the interpolation kernel to shift the single cubes to the correct places inside the big combined cube (str; default: \'tanh\'). The full name of this option for the EsoRex configuration file is \fBsinfoni.objnod.kernel_type\fR [default = \fItanh\fR]. .TP \fB\-\-objnod\-no_coeffs\fR \fI\fR number of coefficients for the polynomial interpolation (long; default: 3). The full name of this option for the EsoRex configuration file is \fBsinfoni.objnod.n_coeffs\fR [default = \fI3\fR]. .TP \fB\-\-objnod\-ns_ind\fR \fI\fR Nord South Index Switch: indicates if the slitlet distances are determined by a north\-south\-test (TRUE) or slitlet edge fits (FALSE) (bool; default: True). The full name of this option for the EsoRex configuration file is \fBsinfoni.objnod.nord_south_index\fR [default = \fITrue\fR]. .TP \fB\-\-objnod\-flux_cor\fR \fI\fR Flux correction: (bool; default: False). The full name of this option for the EsoRex configuration file is \fBsinfoni.objnod.flux_cor\fR [default = \fIFalse\fR]. .TP \fB\-\-objnod\-fine_tune_mtd\fR \fI\fR Fine Tuning Method: indicator for the shifting method to use (P: polynomial interpolation, S: cubic spline interpolation) (str; default: \'P\'). The full name of this option for the EsoRex configuration file is \fBsinfoni.objnod.fine_tuning_method\fR [default = \fIP\fR]. .TP \fB\-\-objnod\-order\fR \fI\fR Fine Tuning polynomial order: order of the polynomial if the polynomial interpolation shifting method is used. (long; default: 2). The full name of this option for the EsoRex configuration file is \fBsinfoni.objnod.order\fR [default = \fI2\fR]. .PP Note that it is possible to create a configuration file containing these options, along with suitable default values. Please refer to the details provided by the 'esorex \-\-help' command. .SH SEE ALSO The full documentation for the sinfo pipeline can be downloaded as a PDF file using the following URL: .IP .B ftp://ftp.eso.org/pub/dfs/pipelines/sinfoni/sinfo\-pipeline\-manual\-19.0.pdf .PP An overview over the existing ESO pipelines can be found on the web page \fBhttp://www.eso.org/sci/software/pipelines/\fR. .PP Basic documentation about the EsoRex program can be found at the esorex (1) man page. .PP It is possible to call the pipelines from python using the python\-cpl package.
