Before using a plugin you must instruct

to load it on startup\&.

menu on main window toolbar, open

dialog, click on the
\(lqLoad plugin\&.\&.\&.\(rq
button and select the plugin file, named
notification\&.so, and press the
\(lqOpen\(rq
button\&.

Some IMAP servers (for example
Gmail(TM)) doesn\*(Aqt implement the
\(lq\eRecent\(rq
flag on messages\&\s-2\u[1]\d\s+2\&. Therefore, notifications about new mail will be unreliable on these servers\&.
