ElementTree::newElement - Create a new element

SYNOPSIS¶

ElementTree newElement( String name, Int expectedchildren=0 )

ARGUMENTS¶

name The name of the new element expectedchildren This argument is used for optimising internal functions but may be useful to end users in some circumstances - it gives the expected number of child elements (including text data blocks). It is optional and defaults to 10.

DESCRIPTION¶

Creates a new Element with the specified name.
