NAME¶
fsgateway - FUSE module to browse database's metadata, sugar datastores and xml filesSYNOPSIS¶
mono fsgateway storage_type connection_string [fuse_option] mountpointDESCRIPTION¶
FsGateway allows you to use your preferred directory navigation tool to inspect a database's metadata, sugar datastores and xml files. FsGateway allows you to compare two database structures in an easy way using the diff tool, or to find where a field is defined using the grep tool.storage_type can be:¶
tagfsYou must provide the root directory of tree to examine as
connection_string parameter.
xmlfs
You must provide the need the XML file to read as
connection_string parameter.
postgresql
Specify the connection_string parameter like this one:
sugar_datastore
Server=localhost; Database=mydb; User ID=username;
Password=password; Port=5432;
You must specify the directory used by the Sugar
datastore as connection_string parameter.
MySQL5
Specify the connection_string parameter like this one:
SqlServer
Server=localhost; Database=mydb; User ID=username;
Password=password; Port=3306;
Specify the connection_string parameter like this one:
Server=localhost,port; Database=mydb; User ID=username;
Password=password;
or like this one:
Server=localhost,port; Database=mydb; User
ID=domainname\username; Password=password; Integrated Security=SSPI
