The macro \fBINFINITY\fP expands to a \fIfloat\fP constant representing positive
infinity.

The macro \fBNAN\fP expands to a \fIfloat\fP constant representing a quiet NaN
(when supported).  A \fIquiet\fP NaN is a NaN ("not\-a\-number") that does not
raise exceptions when it is used in arithmetic.  The opposite is a
\fIsignaling\fP NaN.  See IEC 60559:1989.

The macros \fBHUGE_VAL\fP, \fBHUGE_VALF\fP, \fBHUGE_VALL\fP expand to constants of
types \fIdouble\fP, \fIfloat\fP, and \fIlong double\fP, respectively, that represent
a large positive value, possibly positive infinity.
