.SH DESCRIPTION
.B gitg
is a graphical user interface for git. It aims at being a small,
fast and convenient tool to visualize the history of git repositories.
Besides visualization, gitg also provides several utilities to manage your
repository and commit your work.
.SH OPTIONS
.B \-c,--commit
Open 
.B gitg 
in commit view

.B \-?,--help
Show the help message

.B [repository]
Load the repository at
.B repository
in 
.B gitg. 
If unspecified, 
.B gitg 
will try to open the repository at the current working directory

.B [<refspec>]
Populate the history view of
.B gitg
using the specified
.B <refspec>
which has the same format as used with 
.B git log
(Example: 
.B gitg
\-\-left\-right HEAD..FETCH_HEAD)
