The function checks, whether \fIaliasName\fP is unique within the ASOs history and complains, if not. It returns TRUE on success and FALSE otherwise. The case that the version already had the alias name is considered as success. .LP \fIatDelVersAlias\fP deletes the given \fIaliasName\fP from the list of version aliases attached to \fIaso\fP. It returns TRUE on success and FALSE otherwise. It also returns TRUE, when the alias name did not exist. .LP \fIatVno\fP returns a compact representation of \fIaso\fPs generation and revision number, packed into a single integer. \fIatGen\fP extracts the generation number, and \fIatRev\fP the revision number from a \fIversionNumber\fP in compact representation. .SH DIAGNOSTICS On error, the \fIatError\fP variable is set to an appropriate error code, and \fIatErrMsg\fP holds a diagnostic message.
