Default framebuffers may also be invalidated if bound to \fItarget\fR\&. .PP For \fBglInvalidateNamedFramebufferSubData\fR, \fIframebuffer\fR is the name of the framebuffer object\&. If \fIframebuffer\fR is zero, the default draw framebuffer is affected\&. .PP The set of attachments of which a region is to be invalidated are specified in the \fIattachments\fR array, which contains \fInumAttachments\fR elements\&. .PP If the specified framebuffer is a framebuffer object, each element of \fIattachments\fR must be one of \fBGL_DEPTH_ATTACHMENT\fR, \fBGL_STENCIL_ATTACHMENT\fR \fBGL_DEPTH_STENCIL_ATTACHMENT\fR, or \fBGL_COLOR_ATTACHMENT\fR\fIi\fR, where \fIi\fR is between zero and the value of \fBGL_MAX_FRAMEBUFFER_ATTACHMENTS\fR minus one\&. .PP If the specified framebuffer is a default framebuffer, each element of \fIattachments\fR must be one of \fBGL_FRONT_LEFT\fR, \fBGL_FRONT_RIGHT\fR, \fBGL_BACK_LEFT\fR, \fBGL_BACK_RIGHT\fR, \fBGL_AUX\fR\fIi\fR, \fBGL_ACCUM\fR, \fBGL_COLOR\fR, \fBGL_DEPTH\fR, or \fBGL_STENCIL\fR\&. \fBGL_COLOR\fR, is treated as \fBGL_BACK_LEFT\fR for a double\-buffered context and \fBGL_FRONT_LEFT\fR for a single\-buffered context\&. The other attachments identify the corresponding specific buffer\&. .PP The contents of the specified region of each specified attachment become undefined after execution of \fBglInvalidateSubFramebuffer\fR or \fBglInvalidateNamedFramebufferSubData\fR\&. The region to be invalidated is specified by \fIx\fR, \fIy\fR, \fIwidth\fR and \fIheight\fR where \fIx\fR and \fIy\fR give the offset from the origin (with lower\-left corner at $(0,0)$) and \fIwidth\fR and \fIheight\fR are the width and height, respectively, of the region\&. Any pixels lying outside of the window allocated to the current GL context (for the default framebuffer), or outside of the attachments of the framebuffer object, are ignored\&. If the framebuffer object is not complete, these commands may be ignored\&. .PP If the framebuffer object is not complete, \fBglInvalidateSubFramebuffer\fR and \fBglInvalidateNamedFramebufferSubData\fR may be ignored\&. This is not an error\&. .SH "ERRORS" .PP \fBGL_INVALID_ENUM\fR by \fBglInvalidateSubFramebuffer\fR if \fItarget\fR is not one of the accepted framebuffer targets\&. .PP \fBGL_INVALID_OPERATION\fR by \fBglInvalidateNamedFramebufferSubData\fR if \fIframebuffer\fR is not zero of the name of an existing framebuffer object\&. .PP \fBGL_INVALID_VALUE\fR is generated if \fInumAttachments\fR, \fIwidth\fR or \fIheight\fR is negative\&. .PP \fBGL_INVALID_ENUM\fR is generated if any element of \fIattachments\fR is not one of the accepted framebuffer attachment points, as described above\&. .PP \fBGL_INVALID_OPERATION\fR is generated if element of \fIattachments\fR is \fBGL_COLOR_ATTACHMENT\fR\fIm\fR where \fIm\fR is greater than or equal to the value of \fBGL_MAX_COLOR_ATTACHMENTS\fR\&. .SH "ASSOCIATED GETS" .PP \fBglGet\fR() with argument \fBGL_MAX_COLOR_ATTACHMENTS\fR .SH "VERSION SUPPORT" .TS allbox tab(:); lB cB s s s s s s s s s s s lB cB cB cB cB cB cB cB cB cB cB cB cB.
