.SH DESCRIPTION
\fBNote:\fP \fBftp\-ls\fP will not appear
in future releases of NCBI Entrez Direct.
Instead, please use \fBnquire \-lst\fP.

\fBftp\-ls\fP lists the contents of a given directory
on a specified file server.
It prints one line per item,
using a subset of \fBls\ -F\fP's notation:

Regular files' names appear as is.
.IP * 3
Subdirectories' names appear with trailing slashes (\fB/\fP).
.IP * 3
Symbolic links' names appear with trailing at signs (\fB@\fP),
whether they refer to files or directories.
